Gestalt institute was co-founded by Fritz Perls, Laura Perls, and Paul Goodman in the 1940s–1950s. Gestalt therapist work within an existential and experiential Process therapy, that focuses on the individuals experience in the present moment. It emphasizes personal responsibility. Gestalt therapy techniques comprise of treating the whole person’s experiences: Thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations. Focusing all the time on the here and now.
