Ivan Lattimore & Julie Donaldson

Julie Donaldson’s testimony in court stated that she has suffered abuse at the hands of her boyfriend Ivan Lattimore on a regular basis. According to the Boston Globe Channel 7 sports reporter Julie Donaldson, who said she was injured in an assault last month, testified yesterday that her boyfriend (Ivan Lattimore) threw her against a wall and punched her in the face.

These type of stories are so common in domestic abuse. Once the scars have healed does that mean that everything is fine. Certainly not. The mental scars quite often last a lifetime.

I think the real key in all of this is that the person who is on the receiving end of physical or mental abuse must come to terms with the facts that they did not deserve this abuse under any circumstances and they must not see themselves as a victim.

If you are experiencing feelings of low self worth, depression, apathy and an inability to recover from physical or mental abuse then you might want to check out Narcissism Abuse Recovery .

Let me know what you are thinking, because I am listening.
